My Thoughts on the New Release

Hello everyone! Bella here. Today I have My Thoughts on the New Release.

So first off we have Tenney Grant! I don't really like her. Her eyes look red in some pictures and her freckles don't look very realistic. If she was a custom made doll she would be okay, but I was expecting better things from AG. But I like how her hands are shaped to hold her guitar and banjo, but I don't like how they look. They look almost like OG doll hands. Same with Logan.

I have mixed feelings about him. He is cute, but he kind of looks like a bitty twin. Also, I don't mind that people make boy dolls, but American GIRL making a boy doll, that I'm not so sure about. Yes, there was boy Bitty Twins, but that seemed different then an 18" doll.

Tenney's collection is pretty cute. I LOVE the outfit on the left except for the shoes. The middle outfit is cute too, but I don't like her pajamas. I've never liked the idea of a long sleeve shirt with shorts, it's just so wrong.

I love this set! It is really adorable! Except the watermelon doesn't look very realistic and the chicken looks kind of gross. The potato salad and the drink look amazing though!

Her banjo and guitar are pretty cute! But often most guitars are the plain wood and not painted, but it still is cute.
The drum-set is pretty awesome! I wonder if it actually makes noises and if you can play it....

I think that her puppy would be adorable if he didn't have embroidered eyes. He looks so sad. And the embroidered eyes make him look more like a stuffed animal than an AG pet. Also, if he is a boy why does he have a pink flower on his collar???

This set is pretty cool! I like how it is reversible. The chair does look awful plastic-y.....

Ah Felicity. Where do I start? First off she looks fat in her new outfit, the "bustle" on the back doesn't look like a bustle at ALL

And her eyes are different!!! 😭😭😭😭😭😭 There have been (including this one) 3 different Felicity's, and thankfully the last two had those striking green eyes.

New Felicity's eyes. See??? They changed her eyes! NOT happy about that at all. And, what I just noticed too, AG changed her eyebrows too! This doll would be a gorgeous doll, but this doll is not Felicity!

And she was only re-released with her undergarments and accessories. Not any clothes or anything, and is she only available online or one of the flagship store.

I LOVE Julie's new outfit! It's really cute but in my opinion it's a little too short.
Kit's dress is pretty cute! I love all the pleats in front.
I really like Mary-Ellen's swimsuit. I have an aunt who likes flamingos, and I know that she'll probably love it!

I don't quite like the boots, but the outfit and hat is pretty cute! The little carnival set is cute, but I could see maybe some more accessories.

Okay, so I'm not sure if the outfit is historically accurate. What I'm not sure about is that it has her monogram on it, but if they are in the depression I don't think that they could have afforded that. Please correct me if I am wrong. Also, the mini golf set is adorable! But again, I'm not sure if they had mini golf back then and Kit's family couldn't have afforded to go mini golfing. I would love if the set had gone to someone else and been more historically accurate.

I like Julie's basketball set! I won't be buying any of it seeing that my dolls don't do basketball, but I love this set because basketball was a big part in Julie's story.

Ahh! Okay yellow overload. Even though it is very 70's I still like it! What's also nice is that it folds up so it doesn't take up as much room. I could also see people "remolding" it......

I really like the pastel on this dress! Not so BAM in your face outfit or set. (Like Julie's bathroom.)
Not a fan of the Easter basket though. Too plastic-y looking.

I really like this orange swimsuit! But the flip-flops seem awfully thin.
The cooler though is adorable!! The drinks don't look very realistic, but I love the little sandwichs!
 
The volleyball outfit is cute, and it's not pink! Yay! Thankfully this release there hasn't been an overload of pink. (As I said the word pink I just realized that there was a pink ballet outfit.)
Oh well. You can't have everything not being pink. Pink is good, just not pink all the time. The ballet outfit is cute though! (Is it just me or is TM #55 always dressed in ballet clothes or skating clothes? I remember getting a catalog with #55 being an ice skating. Just an observation....)

The Bitty Babies and Wellie Wishers each got a couple items but I won't be doing my thoughts on those.
