While they were playing Samantha comes running towards them saying "Guys! Guys!" in a urgent tone.
Saige and Katrina stopped and looked at Samantha.
"What is it?" Saige was the first to ask.
"It's Anastasia's birthday! We forgot it! It was on February 14th. I overheard her talking to a friend while she was face-timing them and she mentioned when her birthday was. We need to do something!"
It was decided that they would throw a impromptu surprise birthday party. Samantha had the hard task of keeping Anastasia inside while Saige and Katrina were setting up outside.
"Man, I can't believe we forgot Anastasia's birthday." Saige said while setting up the table
Katrina was sitting there just watching and not really doing anything. Katrina said to Saige
"Well, you know we forgot your birthday, you forgot my birthday. The only one we didn't forget was Samantha's and her's is coming up again. Don't feel bad. Just because we didn't remember her birthday doesn't mean we don't love her. She never told us that's all. Besides, we're still doing something!"
Saige sighed. "You're right Katrina. Let's make this the best party Anastasia's ever had!
Just then Samantha came running out yelling "She's coming! Places everyone! I couldn't keep her inside any longer."
She breathlessly took her spot by Katrina.
They all yelled "Surprise!" When Anastasia came to investigate.
Anastasia was very touched by her sisters' actions.
"You did this for me?" she asked.
"Of course!" replied Saige "You're our sister and we love you!"
"Aw!" Anastasia smiled. "You guys are the best!"
The girls hung around the table, talked, and ate the yummy treats.
Then it was time for presents!

The sisters' gave Anastasia two presents and then clustered around her.
"These are from all of us" Samantha told Anastasia
"I hope you like them!" Katrina said.
"I know I'll love them!" Anastasia promptly replied.
In the little green bag was a pretty bracelet and a penguin necklace.
The last one Anastasia breathlessly said, "Is this what I think it is?" She started to tear off the paper.
"It is!" she cried."
She immediately pulled the doll out of the box. "How did you guys find her? I know that she's retired."
Saige smiled a smug smile. "We had Bella help us and that's all we'll say."
"She's your closest look-a-like" commented Samantha.
"Thank you guys! You are the best!"
Just then there was a crinkling of leaves.
All heads turned in the direction of the sound.
A girl stood there who wasn't sure what to do.
Her arms stayed by her side like they were frozen in fear.
Finally she spoke in almost a whisper. "Hi I'm Sydney. Bella told me that I would find you here."
Samantha was the first one to snap out of it. She gave Sydney a hug. "Hi Sydney I'm Samantha and this is Saige, Anastasia, and Katrina."
She smiled shyly. "Nice to meet you all"
All the dolls welcomed Sydney with a big group hug.

I hope you enjoyed this! I surprised the dolls by adopting Sydney. It was an out of the blue opportunity and one chance thing to adopt her so I took it.
