Hey! Bella here.
If you celebrated Thanksgiving I hope you had a wonderful day!

Are you ready for this one?

But first, the results of the last one.

It was

Fabulous! It won unanimously.

The next one I can't quite decide.
It consists of all American Girl doll clothes.

I love the colors and the color pink on Anastasia, but I can't decide if I like it or not.
Comment below! 👇 (I just realized that Blogger has different emoji)

On Monday Anastasia asked you guys what you were thankful for. (If you haven't done it or want to do it again comment below one thing you are thankful for) I will let the oldest doll go first, and then go to the youngest. Anastasia you first.

Anastasia: Hey guys! So one thing I'm thankful for is you guys (the followers and readers) and my family and home. I'm so glad you adopted me and I love being here!

Samantha: I'm thankful for my sisters even though they sometimes annoy me. *cough Saige cough*

Saige: I'm thankful for horses.

Katrina: Books. That's what I'm thankful for.

Bella again. I'm thankful for a lot of things. A couple are my family and friends, and my house and food, but most importantly I am thankful for that Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior.

Alright! That wraps up this post! Comment below whether the outfit above is Fabulous? Or Fail?

Missouri in the Fall {An AGPS}

Hello! Hello! It's me, Anastasia! Last weekend I was able to go to Missouri with Bella. There will be will be 4 posts, and the last one will be pictures of the town and scenery.
Here is part 1! Enjoy!
I really like this picture! On Friday we left and drove for about 5 hours and got to Missouri.
We stayed in a old post office converted into two bed-and-breakfasts. It was called Joey's Birdhouse and was very nice!
On Saturday morning, Bella's dad went to ride the Katy Trail, while Bella, her mom, and I went to explore the town of Hermann.
We had a wonderful time!
We went into many different shops and spent most of the day in town.

We were in the Ozarks part of Missouri and it was really pretty even though we missed the prime season of the trees turning.
(I love this picture!) Bella's and my favorite shop, was a shop called Blondie's Dolls. This picture is of Samantha's tea set. Bella might have bought something from Blondie's Dolls.

I really like this picture!

I really like this picture!
So that was day one of our small trip! Next Monday I will post the second part.

What's your favorite place to go to on vacation?

Harvey Girl Samantha {An AGPS}

Hello everyone! This is Samantha. Today I have a photo-shoot of me! Enjoy!

This is one of my favorites!

I really like this one too!
But I love this one!!
My first day as a Harvey Girl! ;)
I think though this is my absolute favorite!

Which picture was your favorite?

I forgot some information about the Harvey House in my last post. I forgot to tell you that the Harvey House that Bella and I went to was in Florence, KS. If you are ever traveling through, you should check it out! (Tours are free, but you must make a reservation) Also, Bella read a book about the Harvey Girls which she thought was very interesting. The book is Diary of a Waitress: The Not-So-Glamorous Life of a Harvey Girl Novel by Carolyn Meyer. Bella really enjoyed that book. ^-^

See you guys later and don't forget to comment which picture was your favorite!

I forgot to ask a question. Do you play any instruments?

See ya!

Harvey House Museum

Hello everyone! Samantha here. As Anastasia said in the last post, I have a very special and fun post for guys.
On Thursday Bella and I went to a Harvey House museum.
For those who don't know what a Harvey House is,Wikipedia has a good article *here*. But, I will summarize it so if you don't want to, you don't have to read the whole article. Fred Harvey was the one who created the Harvey Houses. He was born in England and he came to the US when he was around 15. He started a chain of restaurants called Harvey Houses in 1878. They would be where the train stopped. The passengers would get off the train and have time to eat a 4 course meal in 30 minutes. The waitresses were called Harvey Girls. Back then waitresses were looked down upon and girls from "good" homes would not be waitresses, Not Harvey Girls! They had strict rules that they had to follow.
Fun fact: The Harvey Houses originated in Kansas!
Bella thought it would be fun if she sewed me a Harvey Girl costume. She only had 1 picture to go by, and no real pattern.
This is a Harvey Girl uniform. (With me next to it)
Bella got really close with my costume if I may say so myself!
The table settings had to be just right. They also had a special cup code which indicated which drink the customers wanted.
This is an old stove in the Harvey House that had been used in the 40's and 50's.

Here is a stereoscope. I used to have one but it is broken. :(
There was an old Bible in one of the rooms which the Harvey Girls would have stayed in.

Here is an autograph book where you would get your friends' signatures.

Bella loves these boots, but she would not want to lace them up!

Here we have a bed which one of the Harvey Girls would have stayed in, and a mirror, brush, and comb set in a nice little box.

The lady who gave us the tour was so nice! She was the one to suggest that Bella take a photo of me on the dresser and get the front and back of the bed in the picture. She also let us into the rooms and take pictures which not everybody else can do.

It's a foot warmer! This was used in horse and buggy days.. I thought that it was so funny and interesting that they used a plain old stone.
This is me in the serving window where they passed the food from the kitchen into the dining room.
One Harvey Girl reporting for duty!

I loved going to the museum so much! It was great. Bella also took a small photo-shoot of me which I will be posting later.

Do you think that Bella did a good job on my costume?

Have you ever heard of the Harvey Houses before?

See you guys later!
