A Spring Surprise {Part 2}

She raised her hand into a wave. "I'm Rilynne."

Sydney waved back. "Hi, I'm Sydney! What are you doing here?"

"Well," Rilynne replied, "I'm not sure how to say this, but I was told this would be my new home."

"Oh, that's great! The more the merrier," Sydney smiled at her. "So where are you from?"

"I'm from New Zealand!" Rilynne replied. "It's so weird because right now it would be fall New Zealand; not spring!" 

"That is weird!" replied Sydney. "Well, we should get you settled in and introduce you to your new sisters!"

"Over there by the hopscotch is Katrina with the brown hair, Addy with the black hair, and then Kailey next to her."

All of the girls waved and said hello to Rilynne.

Sydney then led Rilynne over to Anastasia.

"Hi! I'm Anastasia - it's very nice to meet you!"

Saige immediately welcomed Rilynne, and of course the dogs did too.

"I absolutely LOVE dogs!" exclaimed Rilynne. "Back home in New Zealand there was this Corgi puppy I used to play with."

The girls kept talking as the walked along inside.

"So if you are from New Zealand then you are called a kiwi is that right?" asked Saige.

"Correct!' replied Rilynne.

"In theory, you could be a kiwi, eating a kiwi, and watching a kiwi? Right?" Saige asked again.

Rilynne laughed. "Yes, because the word kiwi has three different meanings: a native New Zealander, a fruit, and a bird."

"That's cool!" replied Sydney.

Since the other girls wanted to help get Rilynne settled, they worked on picking up their things.

Everyone, please welcome Rilynne to A Doll's Life family!

She will hopefully make a post soon introducing herself! Be on the lookout for that.

A Spring Surprise {Part 1}

It was the first day of spring and the dolls decided to go outside and celebrate.

Saige was playing fetch with the dogs.

The dogs, of course, loved playing fetch and would race each other to see who would get the stick first. 

Anastasia was practicing her guitar.

Sydney and Samantha were having a picnic together.

Katrina was playing hopscotch along with Addy and Kailey.

They were each doing their own thing when they heard a "Hello, is this A Doll's Life house?"

Samantha and Sydney were the first ones to hear this newcomer.  

"I was told that Katherine and the dolls lived here."

There was a girl standing there. Who was she???

Anastasia Meets Tatum-Chloe

Hello everyone! Anastasia here. Yesterday I got to meet a new friend! Some of you might remember when Katherine hung out with Clara aka dollogy . Well, I got to go along this time!

I got to meet Tatum-Chloe! She was awesome! ^-^

We explored a forest, it was so much fun!

Happy Birthday to.........

It was a summer day when Addy, Saige, and Kailey decided that they wanted to do something special for their sisters. They realized that Sydney, Anastasia, Samantha, and Katrina's birthdays had passed and that they had not celebrated them. So, they decided to throw a party for them. 

They each helped with setting up decorations and preparing food. 

Kailey had some extra flowers, so she went over to Addy. "Hey Addy where should we put these flowers?"

"Ummm," replied Addy.

"Here, let's put them in the back."

They both helped to set up the flowers.

Now everything was decorated and ready!

They then called out to their sisters to come into the room.

"Surprise!" They shouted out when Sydney, Anastasia, Samantha, and Katrina came. 

"All this for us? You guys are the best!" Anastasia exclaimed.

"You didn't have to do all of this for us!" replied Sydney.

"Thank you!" All four girls replied and gave their sisters a hug.

They then played a game called Pig Mania, which is a game where you roll small plastic pigs and get points. 

They each took turns rolling the pigs.

Anastasia was determined to get more points than Kailey, so she maintained eye contact to make Kailey nervous.

"Yay, 20 points!"

Their scores were:
7th Katrina: 10
6th Kailey: 23
4th and 5th Samantha and Sydney tied with: 25
3rd Addy: 29
2nd Anastasia: 30
1st Saige: 45

After that, they then went over to the cake table to enjoy some goodies.

"Sorry we don't have presents for you guys," Kailey said

"It's okay!" replied Samantha. "Birthday's aren't all about the presents. Thank you guys for putting this all together!"

Just then, they heard a knock on the door. "Remember *last year*?" 

"Oh, yeah!" replied Kailey. "Has is really been almost a year since we've come to live here? Wow! Well, I will get the door."

When Kailey went to answer the door, there was a girl she didn't know. "Are you a new sister?" Kailey immediately asked. 

The girl laughed. "No, I'm only staying here for a week. Did Katherine not tell you?"

"No......" replied Kailey. "I'll have to talk to her. So what's your name?" 

Kailey opened the door and invited Nanea in.  

"So my sister Tia has been here before. Do you know her?"

"No," replied Kailey. But my sisters do!"

"Okay, great! So Tia and I, along with a couple of others, live at the library and we get to go to different homes each week. It's so fun! Katherine told me that I could stay here for a week with you all!"

Before Kailey and Nanea went to get Nanea acquainted with the others, they talked about the beach and other things. Nanea is from Hawaii and loved the ocean like Kailey. They got along together very well.

Kailey then introduced Nanea to the other girls. "Everyone, this is Nanea. Nanea this is Saige, Addy, Samantha, Katrina, Sydney, and Anastasia."

"Hello!" Nanea waved to all of the sisters.

Like when they met Tia, they asked if she was a new sister coming to stay with them, but she explained that she was only going to be here for a week.

They then invited her to join the party and made her feel welcome.

Happy birthday to Sydney, Anastasia, Samantha, and Katrina!

Then the dolls took a group picture with Nanea so they could remember their time with her.
