Thoughts on Z - New Release

Hello! How are you today? This is Bella here with my thoughts on the newest American Girl doll character Z!


First off is the doll herself. She is cute, but she is very similar to some of the other Truly Me dolls. But when AG started making the stop-motions with her in it, obviously they had to release her. She is cute though!

I'm kind of torn about this. 3 out of the 4 have already been used. The beret has already been used (I think it was from the Truly Me line) the jacket is basically Truly Me and Lanie's but slight variation, and the glasses have been from the Truly Me line. Even so, I think all the pieces are cute. I know some people are mad because it's "recycled" but if you are a newer doll collector or missed out on some of these things it's nice :)

I NEED this!!!! 😍😍😍  It's so adorable and only $28!! I love how it's classy because it's black. Some people were mad because the camera is similar to Lea's, just a different color, but Z is a stop-motioner and would need it :)

Popcorn is cute, but has been already been available. Although I do see AG's dilemma. When they created Z they basically used what they already had. So when they made her as a doll, they had to sell what they had sold in the past. It is part of her story though. AG is/was in a tight spot.
 
So, I like all of these items in this outfit, but not all together. They all have great mix-n-match potential and I'm thinking about getting this outfit; I don't know yet.

Again some more mix-n-match potential. I don't quite like it in some ways, but in some ways I do. AG went out of the box to create this style for Z and I like how they went out of the box. Plus it's not pink!

This is super cute! I could see lots of AG bloggers and AG Instagram-ers using this for a lot of photo shoots. It would be much easier to make the doll stand on it than a regular scooter.
 
I really like this! I think that the main part of the desk is wood. Which if it is that would be so exciting! You know that you are used to AG and their prices when you say "Oh! That's not that it's expensive -it's only $125!" That was my reaction when I heard the price. Most people would think that it's expensive. If I had more room I would consider getting it.

Well, that wraps it up!

The release seemed small because it was just one doll who got things. Also, why didn't Z get any pajamas?

Happy (belated) Birthday Samantha!

It was a couple days ago when Katrina and Saige realized that Samantha's birthday had come and gone. (Her birthday was on April 11th). When they realized this, they decided to ask Samantha if she wanted a party. She said no. But really, inside, she wanted one and was sad that they had forgotten about her birthday. But she was too nice and polite to tell them that. Katrina and Saige were discussing it and they decided that they would at least do something small for Samantha. So they decided to have a small party for her. They knew that she liked old, vintage-y things, lace, classic books, and things like that. Unfortunately, they didn't have much of that style. But they did have some.

With the help of me (Bella) Katrina, Saige, Anastasia, and Sydney set up a little nightstand with a pitcher and basin, and a book. (They later added some goodies to eat too) 

They had me tell Samantha to come outside while they stood waiting for her.

She came over. "What is it guys?"

When they told her it was a party for her she was so surprised and touched. 

She immediately went to hug all of her sisters.

After thanking and hugging all her sisters, it was time for her to open her presents, 

Her first present was a green infinity scarf that Bella sewed.

Her second (and last) present was an antique china doll from a World Fair. 

Then they gathered around the table/nightstand and ate the goodies. 

Samantha declared this birthday party "Best day ever!"

Overall Samantha had a very good birthday. She also enjoyed her presents.

Don't you love how my dress is a pop of bright color? This dress is my favorite! Plus it has a headband to match with it and I love wearing headbands. :)
